Accessibility Statement
In force since 8 September 2026 · Version 1.0
Our commitment
We want Your Fashion Deal to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, need larger text or high contrast, or cannot use sound.
We are a small team and we are not there yet. This page says where we stand rather than where we would like to be, and we update it as we fix things.
The standard we aim for
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, level AA, on the website and for the equivalent platform guidance on iOS and Android. We describe our current status as partially conformant, which means parts of the product do not yet meet the standard.
What already works
- A skip link that jumps straight to the main content.
- Light, dark and follow-my-system themes.
- Text that scales with your browser or operating system setting.
- Keyboard navigation through the main flows: sign in, feed, deal pages, search and profile.
- Labels on form fields, and errors described in text rather than by colour alone.
- The app is available in English, Dutch and Arabic, and Arabic is laid out right to left.
What does not work yet
These are the barriers we know about. We would rather list them than have you discover them.
- Deal videos have no captions and no audio description. Videos are supplied by shops, so fixing this properly means asking shops for captions.
- The video feed autoplays. There is no setting yet to turn that off, which is a problem if motion causes you difficulty.
- Some colour combinations in the deal cards do not reach the 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio the standard asks for.
- The feed scrolls infinitely, which is hard to navigate by keyboard once you are deep into it.
- Not every image uploaded by a shop has alternative text, because we do not yet require shops to provide it.
- We have not yet completed a full audit with a screen reader on either mobile platform.
Tell us about a barrier
If you cannot use part of Your Fashion Deal, please tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, and what you use to browse. We answer within five working days and we will tell you what we can do and by when.

How and when we assessed this
This statement was prepared on 8 September 2026 by our own team, based on a self-assessment of the website and the apps against WCAG 2.2 level AA. It has not been reviewed by an external auditor. We review it at least once a year and whenever we ship a significant change to the interface.
If we do not resolve it
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your report, write to info@programmaticseo.agency and ask for it to be escalated. You may also raise the matter with the Dutch authority responsible for supervising accessibility requirements for products and services.
