The short version

  • Be honest. A deal has to be a real deal, at a real price, on something you actually have.
  • Post only what is yours to post.
  • Keep it about fashion.
  • Treat other people the way you would want to be treated.
  • Nothing sexual, hateful, violent or illegal.

If you follow those five, you will never hear from us about this page again.

What belongs here

  • Fashion, footwear, bags and accessories, and the deals on them.
  • Short videos that show the item as it really looks.
  • Honest prices, and discounts that are calculated from a price you were genuinely charging.
  • Comments and questions about a deal or a shop.

What is not allowed

None of the following may be posted, in a video, a photo, a deal description, a comment, a shop profile or a username.

Not allowedWhat we mean
Sexual or nude contentNudity, sexual acts, sexualised poses, or content intended to arouse. Ordinary lingerie and swimwear product photography is fine.
Anything involving minorsNo sexualised content involving anyone under 18, ever, and no images of identifiable children without the permission of their parent or guardian. We report this kind of content to the authorities.
Hate speechAttacking or demeaning people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
Harassment and bullyingTargeting someone, insulting them, following them around the comments, or encouraging others to do the same.
Threats and violenceThreatening harm, celebrating violence, or glorifying a violent group.
Illegal and regulated goodsWeapons, drugs, prescription medicines, tobacco, live animals, stolen goods, and anything else that cannot lawfully be sold this way.
CounterfeitsReplicas, fakes, and anything sold with a brand name it is not entitled to. We remove these on sight and we act on rights holder notices.
Misleading pricesA discount from a price you never charged, a permanent sale presented as ending soon, a price that changes at checkout, or a deal on an item you do not have.
SpamRepeating the same deal, posting unrelated advertising, bulk comments, and any automated posting.
ImpersonationPretending to be another person, shop or brand, or implying an endorsement you do not have.
Other people's contentPhotos, videos, music or text you do not own and do not have permission to use.
Personal dataPosting someone else's address, phone number, email or other private information.
Self-harm and eating disordersContent that encourages self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating. Given that this is a fashion product, we treat this seriously.
Scams and fraudPhishing links, fake giveaways, and any attempt to get money or credentials from other users.

A word about comments

Comments are public and they appear immediately. That makes them the easiest place to cause harm, so we hold them to the same rules as everything else.

You can report any comment from the comment itself, and you can block the account that wrote it. Blocking hides their comments from you and yours from them, and it takes effect immediately without telling them.

Extra rules for shops

If you publish deals, more is expected of you, because shoppers act on what you say.

  • The price you show as the old price must be a price you genuinely charged recently.
  • The item must be available when you publish, and you must expire the deal when it is not.
  • Use your own photos and videos, or ones you have a licence for.
  • Describe the item accurately, including condition if it is not new.
  • Do not use a countdown or scarcity claim that is not true.
  • Answer shoppers who ask a reasonable question about a deal.

The full set of obligations for shops is in the Store Partner Terms at https://yourfashiondeal.com/store-terms.

What happens when a rule is broken

We match the response to what happened. A first honest mistake is not treated like deliberate fraud.

StepWhen we use it
We remove the contentA single post breaks a rule.
We reject a dealA deal is misleading, incomplete or breaks a rule, before it is published.
We warn the accountA first or minor breach, so you know where the line is.
We restrict the accountRepeated breaches. You keep the account but lose the ability to post or comment for a while.
We suspend the accountSerious or persistent breaches, or a shop that keeps publishing misleading deals.
We terminate the accountAbuse of other users, content involving minors, fraud, counterfeits at scale, or repeated suspension.

Some things skip the ladder entirely. Sexual content involving minors, credible threats of violence and fraud lead to immediate termination and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.

How to report something

Every deal, comment, shop and account has a report option in the app and on the website. Choose it, pick a reason, and add anything that helps us understand.

What happens next, how long it takes and how to appeal is set out in our Reporting and Moderation Policy at https://yourfashiondeal.com/reporting. You can also write to us.

Report content: info@programmaticseo.agency

If you think we got it wrong

We do get things wrong. If we removed your content or restricted your account, you can object, and a person who was not involved in the original decision will look at it again. You have six months to object.

Object to a decision: info@programmaticseo.agency

How we decide

A person reviews every deal before it is published and every report that comes in. We do not run an automated content filter, so nothing is removed by a machine.

We aim to be consistent, and we write down our decisions so that similar cases are treated similarly. When a rule turns out to be unclear, we change the rule rather than pretend it was obvious.

These guidelines form part of our Terms of Use. Breaking them is breaking the terms.
