Who this applies to

These terms apply to every business with a shop account on Your Fashion Deal, and they are between your business and Programmatic SEO B.V., Chamber of Commerce number 93094299.

They sit alongside our Terms of Use. Where the two differ in relation to your activity as a shop, these terms apply. They are a business to business agreement, so the consumer protections in the Terms of Use are not available to you in that capacity.

Becoming a partner

To open a shop account you need:

  • A registered business, and the authority to act for it.
  • Accurate business details, including your registration number and the country you trade from.
  • A contact person who reads email.

We may verify what you tell us before we let you publish, and we show a verification badge on shops we have checked. Verification says we confirmed the business exists, and nothing about the quality of its deals.

What you may publish

  • Fashion, footwear, bags and accessories, and offers on them.
  • Your own photos and videos, or media you hold a licence for.
  • Offers that are genuinely available to shoppers who follow the link.

Everything in our Community Guidelines applies to you as well, and you can read them at https://yourfashiondeal.com/community-guidelines.

Deal accuracy

This is the obligation we enforce most firmly, because shoppers act on what you publish and because misleading price claims are unlawful.

  • The old price must be a price you genuinely charged for that item recently. Where you present a discount, be ready to show the reference price you used.
  • The discount percentage must follow from the two prices you state.
  • The item must be available when you publish, and you must expire the deal as soon as it is not.
  • The price a shopper finds after following the link must match the price you published.
  • Describe the item accurately, including its condition where it is not new.
  • Do not use a countdown, a stock warning or a scarcity claim unless it is true.
You are the seller. Consumer law obligations for the sale, including the right of withdrawal, the statutory guarantee, delivery and refunds, are yours and not ours. You are responsible for meeting them.

Your content and the licence to us

Your brand, your product imagery and your descriptions remain yours. To be able to show them we need a licence, so by publishing you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, resize, re-encode and feature that content on Your Fashion Deal and in material promoting Your Fashion Deal, for as long as the content is on the service.

You confirm you hold the rights you are granting, including for any person appearing in a photo or video and for any music in a video.

How deals are approved, and why they get rejected

Every deal is reviewed by a person before it goes live. We aim to review within one working day. A deal is either approved, or rejected with a reason written by the reviewer.

These are the reasons we actually reject deals:

ReasonWhat to change
The price or discount does not add upCorrect the old price, the new price, or the percentage so the three agree.
The old price cannot be substantiatedUse a reference price you genuinely charged recently.
The item is not available at the linkPublish only what a shopper can actually buy.
The media is poor quality or does not show the itemReplace the photo or video with one that shows the product clearly.
The media is not yoursUse your own imagery, or imagery you hold a licence for.
The description is incomplete or misleadingSay what the item is, and what condition it is in.
Wrong category or cityChoose the category and city that match the item and the shop.
The item is outside fashionYour Fashion Deal is a fashion platform.
The offer breaks the Community GuidelinesSee the guidelines for what is not allowed.
A duplicate of a deal already liveEdit the existing deal rather than publishing a second one.

You can see the reason in your dashboard, fix the deal and submit it again. If you think a rejection was wrong, object using the route below.

How ranking works

You are entitled to know what decides where your deals appear, so here it is in full.

The feed is ranked by a popularity score calculated from how users interact with a deal: video views and watch time, deal opens, click-outs, likes, saves and shares. Recency contributes, so a new deal gets exposure before it has any interactions, and an expiring deal falls away. Whether a shop is verified does not change the ranking.

The ranking is the same for every user. We do not personalise it per shopper, so a deal that performs well is shown to everyone rather than to a targeted segment.

You cannot pay for a higher position, and we do not sell placement. If that ever changes we will say so here and label paid placement in the product.

What data you get, and what you do not

In your dashboard you get, for your own shop only:

  • Video views, deal opens, click-outs, likes, saves and follows, as counts.
  • The status of each of your deals.
  • A list of the accounts following your shop, with the name and email they registered with, because they chose to follow you.

You do not get:

  • The identity of shoppers who viewed, liked or saved a deal without following you.
  • Any data about other shops or their performance.
  • Any personal data beyond what is listed above.

You may use the data we give you only to run your own shop on Your Fashion Deal. Do not export it into an unrelated marketing database, and do not use follower contact details for anything a follower would not expect.

For the shopper data you receive, you are an independent controller and your own privacy obligations apply. For everything you publish through the portal, we are the controller of the platform and you are responsible for the lawfulness of the content itself.

Fees

There is no fee for publishing deals today. When Your Fashion Deal introduces in-app purchase and takes a commission, we will agree that with you separately and in writing before it applies to your shop. We will never deduct a fee you have not agreed to.

Restriction, suspension and termination

If we restrict, suspend or terminate your shop account, you get:

  • A statement of reasons, giving the facts and the specific term or rule we relied on.
  • Thirty days notice before a restriction or suspension takes effect, unless one of the exceptions below applies.
  • A route to object, and the ability to clarify the facts before the decision becomes final.

We can act immediately, without the notice period, where:

  • The law or an order from an authority requires it.
  • You repeatedly break these terms.
  • There is a serious risk to shoppers, to a third party or to the service, for example counterfeit goods or a payment scam.

You can close your shop account at any time from the dashboard, or by writing to us. Deals you published are removed. We keep the record of a moderation case where we upheld a report about serious harm, as described in the Privacy Statement.

Complaints from partners

Shops have their own complaint route, separate from the consumer one. Write to info@programmaticseo.agency with what happened and what you want. We acknowledge within two working days and aim to answer substantively within ten. If we cannot resolve it, we will tell you plainly rather than let it drift.

Partner complaints: info@programmaticseo.agency

This does not affect your right to go to court, or to use a mediator if we both agree to one.

Your own legal obligations

You remain responsible for complying with the law that applies to your business. In particular:

  • Consumer law: pre-contract information, the right of withdrawal, the statutory guarantee, delivery, refunds and complaint handling.
  • Price indication rules, including the reference price rule for discounts.
  • Advertising standards, including how you describe a product and any claim about sustainability.
  • Product safety and labelling for what you sell.
  • Your own data protection obligations towards your customers.
  • Tax, including VAT on your sales.

We do not check any of this for you, and nothing we approve should be read as advice that a deal is lawful.

Changes to these terms

We give you at least 30 days notice before a change to these terms takes effect, by email and in the dashboard. If you do not accept a change you can close your shop account before it applies. We may make a change sooner where the law obliges us to, and we will say so when we do.

Which law applies

Dutch law applies to these terms, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
